Bart Simpson would do a better job or at least couldn't do any worse!

Regardless of who was in the White House, it would have happened. The airline industry was not prepared to keep it from happening.

By my rough reckoning that is three times the price of a US gallon!
Regards the conspiracy theory!
My opinion is that there was not enough time for any conspiracies to be worked out as you all well know it was publicised worldwide virtually
immediately.
There would need to have been prior knowledge in order to have planned the conspiracy to coincide with the incidents. If there had been prior
knowledge then security would have been tightened to prevent it.

It's all so obvious guys! Bush was showing a senator how C.I.A. agent Oswald took out Kenedy as instructed when the the rifle went off in his
hands...downing an American Airlines 757.
Both men paniced and ran out a secret exit (that opens onto the very back lot used to film the lunar landing) hopped a plane to Florida (Where he
once highjacked an election) and had his chronies make up an excuse to frame a bunch of Muslims to get oil prices up.............................
Ever notice how you never see both Osama and Rumsfeld in the same photos??? They aint foolin me!!!!
Fletch,
I'd rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal labotomy...

I was going off of Flak Monkey's math showing 3.82 vs 3.20 per gallon. I was probably thrown off by that "liter" thing.
Isn't a liter a little more than a yard?

Thats the difference cost over here between a UK and US gallon. As a US gallon is different to a UK gallon (by about 1 litre)
In dollars....
A US gallon over here will cost you $6.15, and in the US will cost you $2.05. So we pay 3 times as much for our fuel as you do....but then all our
cars use 3 times less fuel

Makes more sense now. Yeah, there are a LOT of large vehicles on the roads around here. Lots of full size trucks and SUVs used to haul only one
person back and forth to work. That's not my cup of tea, but if somebody wants to spend half their paycheck on gas, that's their problem.
Luckily, I think car manufacturers are finally finding ways of getting better mileage out of those vehicles.
Time for another conspiracy theory: auto makers already have the ability and technology to get a LOT more mileage out of a gallon of fuel, but refuse
to do so because of kick-backs from gas companies. Comments??
