Being proud to be English has been confused with being racist in recent years, especially in the 1970’s and 80’s, when football hooliganism hijacked
our flag. Times have changed since then but there always will be a small minority that spoil things for the rest.
I for one am proud to be English. I won’t be walking around during the world cup with the cross of St George painted on my face, nor flags flying from
the corners of my car. I won’t be getting leathered and shouting obscenities or throwing up over peoples cars. I do however enjoy watching a good game
of football whilst socialising with like-minded people and supporting the national football team.
Come on England………………
Phil

a turn for the worse
this morning i saw a white pug 306 with 'ENGLAND' in red lettering on the lower halves of the doors, the wheel trim (only one i could see
on the car) had been painted white with a red cross on it and there was something attached to the aerial and another flag in the rear window.
a sad day indeed
Ned.
beware, I've got yellow skin
