Sod the wanting what's due to you. You're not going to get it, because they clearly don't think that you are worth it. Just go
find another job, and move on. Every day you spend there is a day you could be working somewhere else, for someone who appreciates you, and earning
more money.
Good luck

there;s people who are getting paid £3000 more per year than i am for the same job. it unfair, and incosistant.
That's how big companies work. They don't pay "the job" but "the person". They want to pay as little as they
can. They pay what they need to in order to convince you to take the job and then as little as they can get away with to stop you leaving, if they
care whether you stay. Your starting salary is often a percentage higher than your last job. You will find in most large companies that there are
wildly different salaries for people doing the same job.
Yup. TBH, I'm surprised the gap is so small.
If they won't give you a payrise and you really want/need it then find another job that pays enough.

i know another job is needed, and i would love to get out of there, but i want the money thats due to me first, because i beleive it is due to me.
they can't justify a difference like that, especially when people who have disciplinaries and high absense get a pay rise, where i have 100%
attendance and no disciplinaries and i am not worth it...
They can and they will justify why they are paying you less. Go find another job and if they value you and want you to stay they will offer more, if
they don't they wont. If I were you I would be more concerned about why your rated performance had not improved ie why still 2 not 3.

i had a similar problem as you. a couple of years ago i used to work for a vauxhall franchise as a mechanic/slave. they had a group bonus scheme that
paid the same to all mechanics in the workshop at the end of the month and it was related to the entire workshop performance. the problem was that i
worked hard and i mean hard crap job after crap job up to my elbows in s**t every day going home completely knackered but others were taking it easy
and picking the nice easy jobs. but we all got the same bonus this fu**ed me off no end so i spoke to the manager and told him who was lazy(named
people) etc and that if things didnt change i would leave but again we all got the same bonus. i got a new job and the look on the idiot of a
boss's face was brilliant when i told him i was leaving i rubbed it in telling him he knew the problem but didnt have the guts to sort it.
ps. the other mechanics where on a higher hourly rate than me as well

Even if you do get a payrise there is no chance they will back date it.
Just out of interest have you worked out your hourly rate?
