porsche 917 'kit car'
other than that - i would have a darrian , which are available as a kit , and , won the british GT championship - beating ultima and many others into
the bargain .
Fitting a lightweight 'modern v8' would fit the bill for an ultima tho .

Caterham CSR260 for me everytime.
It's all about palm and fingertip control rather than white knuckles and brute force. For one fast lap in the ultima, you'd get five
equivalent laps in a Caterham for the same amount of energy expended. Oh and the Caterham will be easier to get in and out of too.

I think for me it would have to be something with a bit of real history that was also beautiful to the eye and had handling that had been given some
thought. The biggest decision would be whether to put a BDA or a MILLINGTON or a HEART engine in to the back of it.
A crossle.
