Ben, My wife had exactly the same process.

It ended with an emergency cisarian after the jiuce they put in her arm made the contractions so strong she asked for an epidural and then couldnt feel to push.

It will be exhausting for your Mrs, so whenever you get chance, get your head down. She will need as much support as she can get after being induced - even if it goes well, and you being knackered wont help.

You make it sound like the bloke's doing all the hard work!

I know what you mean though - I was there when both of my kids were born. I'm eternally grateful that it wasn't me lying there...

my thoughts are with you both, my wife seems to have a knack all were born within 30mins of starting labour one was in such a rush to get out she ended up on the living room floor

7 Pound 6 ounce

Mother and Baby are doing fine and i've been sent home to bed!

Amazing Experience baby came out after a long! labour.

Congrats Ben But rather you than me - I don't do babies, I married a woman with a 5 year old daughter (now 15!) so no sleepless nights for me!
