What a great idea, I think we should all get one.
Only downside is it's relatively expensive, about double the price of the cheapest GPS based camera detector. But it does offer the chance to
report mobile speed traps which the GPS based units can't detect.

I got a taxi the other day and his satnav called out about a possible mobile trap at a place I've commonly seen them. Don't know what
model it was (late at night after a 28 hour journey didn't care that much)
Of course it could get silly if every place they've ever been seen was in the system.

Cameras are nothing but a tax grab. If the idea is truly to slow speeders, then the government should welcome the idea. Radar detectors are banned in
the two provinces I live and work in, for no good reason other than to increase government revenue.

I think its great that one act had the foresight since 1949 that speed cameras would be used (isnt that even before speed limits were introduced) and
that the 2006 act can allow governments to ban the speed cameras. Does that mean the detectors are OK then?
