Olympus Digital SLR Cameras
Looking at buying a replacement Digi camera and have been looking at the olympus SLR type models.
Anyone have any experience of them and are they good cameras? Looking at second hand ones such as the E1 or E300. Price range is less than 200
quid.
Thanks in advance...

My one of my good freinds has a olympus e510 which she uses a lot and like.
- She sometimes wishs she had something else and was less tied to olympus lenses and flashes etc. But its not a bad camera at all. Her cousin has a
Canon EOS 40D.
I was told a year or so ago for a point and shoot you should look at Canon, Nikon or Sony, in that order.
And for a dSLR Nikon, Canon, Olympus, but again, its all much of a muchness.
That said, i have a £99 Nikon s200 P&S

I have an e 510and love it. takes gat photos and easy to use when you get to know it. I do sometimes find that it can slightly over expose the sky
(easily sorted in photoshop). Before you buy though I'd recommend you research into the 4 thrids lens system and see if it suits your type of
photography.

thanks for the advice everyone. Ended up with an olympus c-8080wz. Apparently a VERY hard bridge camera to beat although a few years old.
Apparently its still hard to beat with newer models at well over x3 the price!!
