What did you learn today?

Firstly- If you are freezing cold you make mistakes..... You really dont want the sidelights to flash when you put your foot on the brake...

Secondly... if you have cappillary guages..make sure you connect them up before starting the engine otherwise you end up with warm oil all over the inside of the car...

And finally... A 2.5L straight six engine sounds AMAZING.....And it hadnt run for nearly 8 years!

Today I found out that not all Ebay buyers are a**holes.
I sold the F1-2 to someone who came around and put a £500 deposit down.
It is going by next weekend.

What you type into the command line on an EMC Celerra doesn't appear to happen in the web interface until a short while later... DO NOT try to do the same thing from both 'cos it doesn't look like it is working!

Oh, and gravity makes things run downhill...

I learned that baby rabbits learn to trust very quickly after vicky's new pet fell asleep on my lap partly covered by a towel. The little bugger kept turning over bit by bit to get more comfy, until she was laid on her back with her legs pointing in the air and her mouth open.

She looked a bit like me after a big night...

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

I learned today,
I really should check the weather forecast before packing up of the night.

It has been freezing cold here for the past week, but dry and bright.

Last night we had a storm hit us,
Gale force winds, Pissing hard rain

Fuuuuuuuuugit !!!!

I learnt that if you are going to fit a set of disc brakes to your bike, check that you haven't bought two left hand levers.

oh, and if you have Xlite alloy bar ends fitted, don't lean your bike against the ridge door as it will scratch it.
