You know your build is going slowly:-

When you have forgotten where you put the chassis.

Or it could be just a senior thing !

Well come on then. There comes a point when you have to bite the bullet and stop thinking about it and just do it and learn from your mistakes. I think before the end of today you should aim to get at least one panel cut. You'll probably find that the rest shouls start to flow after that.

Wow! As good as I am at putting things off until tommorow, sometimes you just have to get on and do it. At this rate petrol will have run out by the time your build is finished!!

What about "you know your builds going slowly when... you get near the end and it's taken that long they've changed the rules and introduced something called IVA!"

I looked in the garage today and the car is in the same state as it did after finishing the last race at Snetterton. with oil leaks and half finished radiator covers ( for the bedroom) sitting on top of the roll cage. NEXT WEEK,, MUST START OVERHAUL!!!

You know when your build is going slowly when...............

You received a notice from your local council stating that they have received a complaint from the mice in your garage stating that their home is now too small and they demand that you extend it. Their home being your build.

You know when your build is going slowly when...............

you realise you first tried dropping your engine in on boxing day...

only took a year to work out that its easier to drop the car over the engine

not sure how i'm going to get the gearbox in now. will have to be done from underneath, but i don't know how i'm going to get the bolts tightened

not a major step forward, but well chuffed with myself

don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!

Did you shut the door quick and forget about it again John I'd like a Midget to make into a Frogeye one day when everything else is out of the way I'll have to get on with it again when the weather picks up

yours, Pete

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

Get on with it......
I´m stuck here without any car as MNR is building it. Deliverytime late January.
I can do nothing but wait.
I have only waited a week now and it is already killing me.

You know it's going slowly when you started it, and by the time it was a rolling chassis they had brought out something called SVA, and by the time it's finished, it'll be history and they'll bring out something called IVA...............

When my mates brother turned 18 his dad bought him a Morris Minor Van. It has had flip front, V8, jag irs axle, etc etc etc. Still not finished and his brother is about 42 now!

Thankfully the 911SC he is rebuilding is coming on a lot faster.
