Attn Peugeot mechanics - 206 heater blower motor.
Evening Gents,
The heater blower motor in the wifes Peugeot 206cc has been playing up for a while, cutting in and out intermittently and now appears to have stopped
altogether.
I've removed the glove box to get to the motor as described in the manual, but as usual it's not that simple. The wife's car has
climate control and so the blower motor is not as in the manual. I suspect it's going to be rather more complicated than I had hoped.
Anyway, my question is:-
When I removed the glove box I found what looks like a small electric motor/fan. It looks like it should be clipped to a housing somewhere but I
can't see where. Can anybody tell me what it is and where it is supposed to go?
Pug Part 1
Pug Part 2
Thanks in advance for any help,
Cheers,
Mart.

Is it a stepper motor/servo to control/move circulation flaps?
That's my 5p guess anyway

Id go with above.
It probably clips to the blower housing somewhere right up under the dash.
If youv got climate control are you sure its the blower motor?

Thanks for the replies guys.
Yea, pretty sure it's the blower motor. Just spent a couple of hours trawling the 206 forums. The switch/display unit seems okay and the icons
all change when they're supposed to. It seems a fairly straight forward job to replace the blower motor provided I can pick one up at the right
price.
I think the fan in the pic is the interior cabin temp sensor. Spins over when the engines running and blows air over the sensor.
Thanks again,
Martin.
