Weird Telephone Call
My wife had a strange telephone call earlier. Someone called her new cell number (had it for 3 weeks) and asked for her by her maiden name. We have
been married for 18 months.
Anyway he went into saying about some sort of insurance claim for 1600 quid she was supposed to be receiving for being in some car crash, which she
hasn't??
She said she thought he was incorrect and he put the phone down. This stinks of fraud!!
What should we do, we have the number.

id report it to the cops, and the telephone people... sounds pretty dodgy

DO NOT CALL THE NUMEBR BACK. My Mum had somehting like this, called back to check and ended up with a massive bill having phoned some premium rate
line in Guatemala (or somewhere foreign).
Let your phone Co know and call the feds.
