car cover secured with bungees and if possible put some sheeets between the car and the cover in case the cover moves around slightly scratching your car.

I went to B&Q and bought a decent length of bungee cord and once the cover fitted started at the front and lashed the whole car so the cover couldn't really move.

Hope that helps, good luck with the SVA

I got a car cover in Lidl just before crimbo for £7. Bit flimsy, good for indoors, but may be ok for a night and a trip to SVA also if lashed down properly.

ive heard its bad to cover vehicles whilst driving as the blowing will rub against the paint and if theres anything between the two surfaces it will strip the paint

Dont know how true this is

thanks for the advice, i will stick a few sheets on then a cover with bungee ropes. it will be straped down to teh trailer, but if it does fit in the grarge it will go there, if not it will be behined 3 cars, and i will propley will not sleep or wont be able to sleep with my car out there and sva the next day. and i live in a dead end road with all old poeple in so if a car does come down a will keep a eye open.
