don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!

It would be virtually impossible to hit a small boat with a torpedo. Submarine launched special forces would be much more efficient...if you wanted them dead ...

But a large charge underneath it would be effective - witness that video recently, where a torpedo exploded under an old warship... which was broken in two.

Steal from an arab and lose your hand, what did they expect!

I thought a dramatic killing when they had landed would appear in the papers, so they did not manage to get that far then.

Could be a number of different things.

I reckon just pure incopetence with a boat and pre-occupation with the money had caused them to lose concentration and sink it themselves.

Though, it wouldnt be the first time a private security company would have been hired to sort out a problem. So, they lose £3m, but an eye for an eye and all that.

Why not, they have been for years. Give it a little while longer and the Somali economy will be utterly dependent on piracy

OR of course, the survivors got greedy and killed the others, then sank the boat?

OR, theyve sunk the money with the other bodies and will go back for it later?
