Have you made you own exhaust...
...for your tintop?
I was thinking about replacing two or three of the silencers with straight through pipes on mine and taking them under the rear A frame rather than
over the rear drive shafts. to get a little more power (less bends).
I didnt know how easy/hard it would be and how cost effective (read cheap).
How long can i resist the temptation to drop a V8 in?

if possible get the entire length made from mandrel bent stainless tube - this will require some careful measuring to get it right though.
what car is it? noise might be an issue...

Its my Jag.
It currently has 5 silencers and most people i know who fit a custom exhaust, take two out and it doesnt seem to make them much louder. I certainly
dont want to go chav louder, im more after the power.

don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!

be careful jags do like their backpressure
the old v12 i had did we made a 3 1/2 inch straight through pipe i
for that.
sounded like god garggling with a scrap yard and ran like sh1t.
we then made a replicar of the proper 1 using stainless 3 1/2 pipe with the right silencers was better but still not right.
and the mpg was crap too about 7mpg!
