build up insurance - valuation

Now that the end of the build is near (ahah ha ha ha...... sorry, will stop joking now...)

I'm in the process ofgetting some build insurance.
Insurance company wants a valuation.

it would be appreciated if anyone could suggest any guide prices. whats it worth?

Scratch build chassis, with MK indy rear end, ZZR1200 engine, Wilwoods

Driveable but no SVA.. yet

Ask yourself what it would cost to replace.

Either, by buying another of similar spec, or the sum of the parts.

You'll end up with 2 different figures, and 2 different insurance quotes

I put down £7500 including tools, mine is a locost, and I valued it at worst case scenario time, of just post SVA but pre registration with all my tools/welder going too.

It is over optimistic, but last thing I'd want is the insurance co to undervalue, and me have shot myself in the foot by not having a high enough coverage to get my money back.

Only £75 for the year, and covers me for trailering it places too.
