I'm 17 miles away in Bath but could get down there if nobody closer volunteers. Is it necessary to get moped frames from the other end of the
country these days??

I'm in Thornbury, north of Bristol. Rich, maybe we can get the frame to you in a relay fashion just like the Olympic torch. They do something
like this on one of the Land Rover forums, I think they call it pony express.
Anyone in Gloucester/Cheltenham that can take it from me?

It must be a rare moped frame if you need to get it from Shit and Smell it. What is it for? An old Lambretta or Vespa?

Thats funny never heard of it being called that before...
Its a fairly old suzuki ts50 which is a project me and my 15 year son are doing together and he's funding and are hoping to get it ready for
April/May for his 16 birthday, problem is all the individual parts he needs to put an old field bike back on the road (it does have a v5) but needs an
mot and so needs all the bits putting back on, these seem to be costing him a bit more than we would like and I've seen this one which has most
of wha we still need, the switch gear is the most important, the seller says he will take the forks out and loosen the handle bars so it won't
be that big and should easily go in the back of an estate car,
LINKY maybe should
have put the link on before people have kindly offered to help, obviously if those people that have offered and can't now help due to its size
then don't worry I'll get it up north somehow if I do get it as a bargain.
Cheers
Rich

Right, looks like we have a cunning plan to help Rich's lad out.
a) Rich wins the auction at bargain basement price.
b) Marshall picks up bike and arranges for handover to Oldtimer and has drink with fellow Locostbuilder.
c) Oldtimer and I arrange for handover and a beer.
d) Darren and I arrange handover and beers somewhere in North Bristol area.
e) Darren travel back North with bike and makes a 15 year old lad very happy and has a beer with proud Dad.
Or
First step goes to rat sh1t and all other steps are academic.
Darren, what company do you work for?

If you know the length and height I may be able to help.
I work in Bristol and live in cheltenham.
The only problem is I now only have a poxy little Corsa. It's the new one so with the seats down may fit it in.
Let me know if you need the assistance.
