What to do with old/scrap alloys?

What to do with old/scrap alloys? Are they worth anything in scrap metal value?

Dont particularly need a new hose reel!

Cheers
James

If you've got nothing better to do and there is a scrap place nearby it could still be worth weighing them in, takes 2 mins at the place 5 mins from me, was about £1 a kilo but as the other poster said it has prob gone down (not sure by how much)

If they are horrible massive heavy ones they might weight 10Kg each or more.

Stash em out of sight for a while until scrap price recovers. As said, they were worth good money middle of last year.

I work in the scrap and recycling industry. I process the stuff but have no ides what is worth. Hang onto them for now until the price goes up. All non ferros that we get in is not sent back out for now due to the price. Us like probably the majority of dealers are stock pilling if we can
