Jaguar XJ40 4.0 1990 engine warning light

What does the engine management warning light look like on a Jaguar XJ40 1990 model year, I have no handbook for it. I suspect it is the one that looks like a zigzag/ lightning sign.
PS does anyone have a owners handbook to sell.
Cheers.
Steve.

Is it The later model dash or the earlier (tokyo by night) dash?

The later model (two big dials and 4 little ones round the outside) just has a light saying 'check engine'.

It is the later non tokyo type, the light that is on is a red zig zag on the left bank of lights.
I thought it may be the alternator one, but I have checked the charging rate and it is about 14 volts which is ok.
