How long does an egg last?
Yesterday missy’s cursed corsa lost all its water due to the water pump gasket bursting, literally was pouring out the damn thing all over the road,
so I popped in an egg (just the white bit) and as usual leaks fixed. But I was wondering how long does this tend to last? Fixed a burst casting on the
JCB a year ago this way and it’s still fine. Just can't be arsed taking the pump of this car as it’s a large diesel stuffed in there with no
room to work
any idea?

works great, once the waters hot, the leak stops instantly. Mustard does the same but I can't stand that stuff

Probably not quite as long as it lasts in a tyre. But at least till you sell it?

Well not sure about that, the digger runs 100% antifreeze and so far the egg has sealed successfully a 1 inch long crack in the thermostat casting,
missy’s car has got antifreeze in it too

Apparantly ground pepper works well too....
Too often these fixes work too well.... I once cycled 20 miles to see some R/C aeroplanes only to find that my thieving flat mate had half-inched my
puncture repair kit. In the end I used some superglue and a little bit of wing rubber-band and it worked nicely for six months
Result!!!

You can egg-spect it to last just as long as the first time you REALLY need the car and then it will egg-splode.
