Best mini forums
Im curious as to what i sinvolved in fitting a different (car) engine into the front of a mini to get a decent performing car. What are the best
forums to browse?
Picked up a copy of Mini World last week and the white one with V-tec in back looks very nice.
What was involved in the Shogun / Mac#1 mini? Did MAC#1 make new subframes to convert it to indy suspension?
Ive got it in my head that i need a tin top toy as i hardly ever get chance to use the Mac#1, and when i do its a pain moving everything out of way to
get it out of garage. Problem is would want something as fast.
Has a zetec been fitted into a mini before? The idea of rear engine appeals but so does retaining 4 seats and at least a little boot area.

I've got some Mini World mags lying around from a couple of years back, VTEC conversions seems to crop up, just looked at one at it looks v.
tidy, still get to keep 4 seats and has 175bhp ^__^ Toyota starlet turbo engine is on the cover of another mag. Let me know if you want these mags
(free obv.), I've got 5 of them (or I could cut out the pages about engine conversions to save postage weight) they'll get recycled
otherwise

Best site is http://www.16vminiclub.com/
Don't think anyone's done a Zetec but I could be wrong. Plenty of 2.0 litre cavalier engines been put in the back though.

Never argue with an idiot. They drag you down to their level, then beat you with experience.
