ah very clever! you should write head lines for the sun

when john inman died, i said to my mate, i bet the suns head line will be "I'm RIP!" lo and behold, the next day....

same as jeremey beadle, i said the headline should be "beadles not about"
and it was!

don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!

Am I right in thinking that you guys are making fun of a brave bloke who has beaten the worst illness to plague this planet, who has had a horrific injury?

If that is the case, crack on. I'm all for a bit of laughing at others misfortune......

As a cyclist, I've broken my clavical twice. It's just an occupational hazard for the pro's and he's lucky not to have done it earlier and hardly "horrific!"

...and if he doesn't see the funny side of the above coments he wouldn't be a cyclist. Having the wee taken is another occupational hazard.

I wasn't aware he was making comeback. I kind of like him for his tenacity but from reading his autobiography he comes across as a right arrogant sod.

Gotta agree, broke mine once, hurt like hell, but not even remotely horrific.

Least it's not gonna be career damaging for him, bit of a downer, but it's not like a shagged knee or something.

And I was using sarcasm. Perhaps some folks don't get it......
When Miss Owelly's clavical was poking through her sweatshirt, she thought it was pretty bad..........

What is a joke, if not laughing at someone's expense?

You can interpret it as you will but in case you cannot see the funny side let me explain.

The man's name is Armstrong. Rearrange the words to give: strong arm.

He has broken a collar one so his arm is no longer strong.

That was the joke.

Point out where I said breaking arms or having cancer is funny.
