Classic GP on BBC red button
Morning all,
The BBC are running a poll on their website for each Grand Prix this year, asking for people's favourite Oz (or wherever each race is) GP, from
a shortlist of 5. They're then putting half-hour highlights packages online of the winner, and a 5 minute highlight of each of the shortlisted
ones... as there was a tie for the two best Oz GPs, they're both online as full "Grand Prix" programs, complete with Murray
commentating...
Even better, they're on the red button as well, so you don't have to watch them in grainy, stuttery web-motion...
If you've got freeview / cable / satellite, on any BBC channel, press the red button, choose Sport, then classic GP. 1986 Mansell v Prost v
Piquet for the championship, then 1994, Schumacher v Hill, also the title decider.
Brilliant, and now I'm absolutely bursting till Sunday!!
Cheers
Vince

I was bursting for Sunday, trouble is, I'm now off to Pakistan (I know, it's dodgy!) with work and I'll be flying around the time of
the damn race
JB
It looks like the Midget is winning at the moment......

You know, I'm almost tempted to get a TV licence (and fix the aerial) to watch the season now!
Or maybe I'll just go to Mum's to watch it!
I assume BBC are going to do it like ITV- show it live but have a lunchtime/afternoon program as well? And a late night 'highlights' as
well?
Cheers,
James
