My last 2 hours
Got home from work at 9 and between then and now i have:
finished welding one side of the chassis (only had about 10 welds to do)
realised the telephone wasnt working and spent 10 mins trying to sort it only to find the plug wasnt in properly
Fitted new wood to all four doors on the tintop
repaired the nsr door lock on the tintop
diagnosed the sticking throttle to a weak return spring
Not bad for 2 hours work

I've just realised I have a 2,000 word assignment, plus 6 drawings, due in on Wednesday of next week for Uni.
I also have two buildings to hand over to clients today
Still at least the weather forecast for the weekend looks bad, so I won't feel so bad staying in and working on my assignment.

i've sat on here all day, watching crap telly (homes under the hammer, to buy or not to buy, and now cash in the attic...) looking out the
window at the miserable cold rainy weather, but the cat's sitting with me purring away, so thats nice
great way to spend a weeks holiday from work...

Got in work at 8 for some training. Sat around, played pool, ate a pastie, did a role play, sat around again then come home. The trainers are having
an arse kicking for letting people home too early, so they sent us home while thet're at the meeting. There's irony there somewhere!

I've fitted the propshaft (had to remove diff to do it), blead brakes, fitted exhaust manifold & made a connector fitted silencer, made and
fitted throttle pedal stop, filled cooling system (no leaks ), ran engine to full temp for 1st time to check electric fan opperation, shortened and
fitted gear lever.
Car now runs, drives stops and cools.
Now enjoying a peanut butter and cucumber sandwich and a coffee.

I've been at work all day, but got home at 2.30. Still being paid until 4, as I'm technically at work in Southam until 3.50. Been quite a
lazy week. I'm meant to work 8-4, but it's been 8-2.30 all week. And now I'm off for 4 days with a mates 25th to go to tonight. Aye,
it's a hard life for me.
PS, they paid me £29K last year to do my job too.
