F1 new wheel nuts??

Did you watch the qualifying this morning, I think it was the red bull cars changing wheels, didn’t look like they were using conventional threaded wheel nut, just seemed to put wheel on and push some retainer 'thingy' on by hand??

f1 havent used wheel nuts for years. they use a quick release mech. i have a friend that works in that area and he has a few of them as they are replaced as disposable parts.

you pull and push the little red bit to lock and release
