Ive just been thinking right...
Say for arguments sake we organised an lemans trip and post up details like convoy meetups, stop over hotels and ferry details.
Its so easy for someone just to follow us know all out plans and then get there hands on our pride and joys without us knowing a bean.
I think there should be a "members only" forum section or somet, at least it deters the beggars a little bit from know what we are up
to!

offer to buy the vidio from the pub ! put it on u tube ! and offer a reward! you never no someone who know the thief might shop him for anonomus money
quote:
from westfield site An update from Andy:- The local Plod did nothing other than give me a crime ref No. and only when I ranted did a nice lady Plod
start helping me but by this time it was 6pm!!!! I reported it at 07.45!!! and I've been calling them every couple of hours since. Plod said
she had called the Ports as I asked her too, but she told me she got no reply from them!? The Hotel's cameras don't work but the pub next
door had a camera pointing at my car. Plod has seen the footage (at 10pm) after I ranted that the Pub wouldn't let me see it, and it does
capture the scrote stealing it, but she can't make out the number plate on his 'small Suzuki type jeep' (her words). It was taken
about 5.45am Sat morning. He was working on his own and waited at the pub entrance for over an hour before stealing it. He parked his car at the pub
entrance (5 min walk away), jumped over the fence along the edge of car park and followed the hedge/stream until he got to my car and jumped back over
to the car park side. He unhitched my trailer (after I assume cutting through the 'D lock I locked the handbrake on with) and then walked back
to his car, reversed up, hitched up and drove off.

Personally I wouldn't leave a car on a trailer in a motorway services while I had a piss, let alone overnight in a hotel
carpark!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I know people should be able to do so, and I know people shouldn't steal other people's stuff, but that was asking for trouble
