OT: we're all going on a summer holiday (hopefully)
3 to 7 friends and I (probably closer to 4 in total) are looking to go on holiday for a week for up to £200 each.
We were thinking of camping in Northern France via the ferry but weren't sure about 4 to 8 lads being allowed on to a French campsite.
Does anybody have any suggestions of holidays or Northern France campsites?
Cheers

If you go in the middle of June, you might even get to see a bit of motor-racing!!!

Also, don't rule out the tunnel - on the ferry you pay per person and per vehicle - with the tunnel it's just per vehicle (and you
won't get seasick)
as for recommendations, I took swmbo to the D-day beaches for her birthday last year, seeing the places where all the soldiers landed was awesome -
especially the cliffs at Pointe du Hoc and the gun batteries at lyon-sur-mer. The American cemetary is absolutely breath-taking, really humbling.
I don't see any reason why a campsite wouldn't take a group of lads (or why they'd ask - just say how many tents you want spaces
for...)

Depending on transport costs you might even be able to get a villa / coattge for that sort of budget. Six of us went to South of France in September
last year and hired a 4 bed villa with a pool and that worked out at just under £200 each including flights!!

If four of you dress as women then you're sorted

Cheers for the replies guys, im having a look at villas now because the savings over flying to the med etc mean we could stay somewhere nicer.
You'd be surprised Vinny, we had to call up 5 places last summer before we were allowed on to a site near Swanage. The that was only
provisionary based on our behaviour on arrival!

The French are generally a bit more laid back about such things I think - it also does help if you can speak enough French to ask about the bookings
to begin with (I've forgotten most of mine, but still remember enough to get by) - just don't turn up all wearing England strips and
carrying St George's flags....
