Sticking rubber to metal

I broke one of my bump stops the other day and when i looked, they seem to just be glued on.
Is there anything i can buy to reglue them back on?

How long can i resist the temptation to drop a V8 in?

doesn't need a super strong bond as its under compression and held in place when in use and just sitting there when not

superglue, could be made for the job.

We make automotive rubber sealing systems (i.e. window rubbers) at work and use more loctite superglue than you could imagine (as in by the gallons a day)
