Slight coming together at Silverstone yesterday.
This hurt a bit!
Funny how all you think about is how much is it going to cost to repair!
The car that spun was a full carbon fibre radical, didn't seem to be too much damage to that.

Ouch!
Was it just bodywork, or did any chassis bits get bent?

I've not really looked yet, I'm hoping it's just the body. It would have been more but I think we hit square on the side which is
fairly strong.

Wasn't much you could have done about that. Did he just overcook it in the wet or did he suffer a suspension failure that caused that, rather
spectacular, spin.
Glad you're ok.

Ouch!
I broke my leg in similar way , on Hanger straight (Silverstone) in a 125 National gearbox kart in 1982 kart grand prix meeting.
Like you I had no where to go.....................

From my team mates footage, who was just infront of me, he spun the rear wheels, hit the inside armco and bounced spinning back across the track.
We hadn't even crossed the start line for the start of the race at that point.
Luckily I got away with just a sore shoulder and neck. Could have been much worse.
