The Bee debate
This is really serious indeed - infact I think we should be more concerned about this, than we are about the whales. No bees means no pollination of
our crops, plants, flowers, etc, so we'll be even more dependent on imports.

One expert this morning said that altough we wouldn't all starve without bees (Lots of other insect pollenaters and wind-pollenated plants) we
would have a really boring life as bees do all the tasty stuff like strawberries.

with all that spare pollen some other creatures would soon take over, like butterflys, bats or smurfs etc
very little goes to waste in nature

I'm not sure I'd eat anything a Smurf has pollinated!

don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!

I'm very worried about it. Bees are lovely creatures. The tiny amount of cash that goes into research is ridiculous considering how important
they are....

in my opinion, nature has a very good way of compensating for things. amazingly good in fact. BUT it takes time. this is something i really think
should be made more of a priority, if only researched better so we know if action is needed or not.
seriousness over,
anyone know what type of bees make milk?

I killed a bee on the weekend. It kept flying into my garage and freaking me out. So I hit it with a woodsaw.
Does this make me a bad man?
