Stoneleigh - A bit cheeky.....??!!

I'm after a favour.....

I've been lumbered with "domestic duties" this weekend so I can't make the show

Would anyone pick me up a few bits from Europa/ CBS and post on? (Without the need to rob a bank to pay Europa P&P).

I need the terminal covers for the battery isolator switches, 6x20mm Dia illuminated switches and some crimps for the switches.

(A bit cheeky but if you don't ask....... )

TIA, Kev

I don't live far away from Europa - are there P&P charges really high?
If you price the items up and find out how much they would charge for P&P, let me know and if necessary, I can collect and post on.

I'm going on Sunday and live in West Sussex (Crawley).

Are you going to order ahead so I can just pick up the bits?

Send me a U2U if you want me to bring them back.

Crikey... are there postage figures so high that it's worth a third party doing your shopping, carting about your shopping, packaging / labelling your shopping when they get home, going to the local post-office with your shopping, sending your shopping and then going through the pallaver of sorting out the postage expenses between yourselves (assuming the Royal Mail don't lose them which opens up a whole new can of worms). Of course it's not so bad if someone living nearby is able to use their own time / petrol to take your shopping to your house!

Or you drive to their house to collect... but even if it's just a short hop - where's the 'saving'?

Flippin eck - I know it's Locost, but save yourself (and someone else) some grief and just order the bits direct!

PS - Yes I am grumpy... must be something to with my irrational fear of the entire universe being wiped-out with Pig-Flu!

I thought I'd ask as it was for a couple of items (the postage was more than the items!) but now as I've stared at the CBS catalogue for an hour my list has got "slightly" bigger!!!

So I'll be placing an order direct.

Many thanks for all the offers of help
