I think Stoneleigh will be quite good this year
I'm going on the Sunday, good weather is always a good thing with these events, and it's lookng like it's going to be good, I
understand there's going to be some interesting cars too.
I've got various people I want to meet, some of whom are bringing some goodies for me to collect, need to do a bit of shopping too.
One stand I shall definitely be visiting in the MEV one. I shall be interested to see the new car.
Plus I need to get round a couple of the Owners Clubs parking areas to see how a couple of makes of car that I've got in are supposed to look
when they're finished.
Perhaps I will see some of you there, but how will I know who you are?

£5k for a complete package for the new car according to the latest CKC. Makes a single seater a bit more paletable.

If the weather is good then it'll be good. Last 2 years have been a bit iffy weather wise but it's was still big. Just people don't
stay to camp or bugger off early morning if it's wet. Don't know about the others but Newark is tiny by comparison.
I'll be the one in an orange Fury with a JPSCC cap on!

I may stand out as I've decided to dress as a Swiss Guard for the day. No particular reason, just thought it would be nice.
PS - it's the guy in the stripey-pyjamas in the photo... not the guy in the pointy hat with the shepherds crook.

PS - Just had a look on the Kit-Finishers website John... I assume this is your venture?
Really quite impressed with the content / context.
I hope it proves successful.

Weather is looking ok, some showers overnight by the looks of it, but nothing major. Having it dry makes all the difference.
Even last year was a good show, even with dodgy weather. This will be the second time the gts has been there, but I think the 6th year running I have
been
I'll be the one wandering around wearing a band t-shirt and with hair down to my waist. Mostly be hanging around the MK/locost area.

How very kind. Yes indeed it is my venture. I started off just doing a couple of cars for something to do til I was ready to start doing my own stuff,
but as it happens it's proved to be very popular. I've had four cars in and out so far, another four in the workshop at the moment, one
due out next week and another due in.
I tried an advert in the Kit Car section of ebay and got good response (I figured that anyone stuck with a build would be looking there to see how
much their car might be worth as an unfinished project ), but ebay keep pulling the advert for miscategorisation, so now I am going in the Kit Car
magazine.
I still plan to produce a kit of my own, and it has been most illuminating to see how various manufacturers tackle problems (and to see what they
manage to get away with )
