maxsport

has anyone tried the maxsport tyres? i saw some RB5s in demontweeks, road legal, 53 quid each... never really heard of them before.

As far as I know they are a "remanufactured" tyre. I don't know what the tarmac ones are like but I've used some of the gravel/loose tyres in Autograss before and they were ok. When I checked for my size they came out at £60 odd plus the vat which isn't much cheaper than some of the more popular ones praised on here

I had Colway F2s (very similar) on my old Phoenix for a while. Very good in the dry. Not as bad as I thought they would be in the wet but avoid standing water. They are a little on the heavy side.
