Toad Ai606 help

Evening

alarm/immobiliser works great normally, had a little difficulty in starting car as I hadn't run it for a while, in doing so turned the ignition on and off a number of times until it started an ran. on turning the engine off I can't get the alarm to re-arm.

any ideas on how to turn it on again??? I've tried unplugging and disconnecting the battery for a period of time but no joy.

with the ignition on if i press the arm button the alarm makes an electrical switch click and the same if I press the dis-arm button, but nothing happens with the ignition off.

Don't some of these use a door switch to do the re-arm once the key is out.

I.e. if you turn off the ignition but then change your mind and start the car again without opening the door to get out it will just start as it only re-arms once the door is opened.

Is this on a tintop or fitted to a kit?
