SVA in Cardiff (Llantrisant)
Nothing to do with locost, but on Monday I got my cobra replica through SVA in Cardiff!
I would highly recommend Cardiff as the place to go for SVA/IVA even if it means a lot of extra miles. Bob, the inspector, was not at all the pencil
pushing arse with a micrometer that I was expecting, he was very realistic and reasonable. He will also be the man for IVAs now.
I cannot describe the contrast between the stress and fear I had of the SVA, and Bob doing the test.
Having said that, I still have shivers when about anything to do with SVA and will ritually burn my SVA rule book now!

Second car done at Cardiff (Llantrisant) both inspectors have been excellent

Bob also did my car. He was a sound guy even though he failed it. But it was a justified fail.
Also well done for passing.

Is he the guy who comes across very dry ?
Thought we was a miserable tw*t at first, but he was spot on.
Had a laugh with him too.
