Sony Ericsson C905

has anyone go one? is it any good?
carephone whorehouse want to give me an upgrade, all the phones available look a bit unexciting, except this one.

don't want to make the same mistake as last time, they phoned me up, said we can do you a new sony W910i, i said yes, but didn't actually look to see if was any good before hand. was suitably unimpressed when it arrived, and i had it on 18month contract...

One of my mates had one of those, really good camera but something about the buttons I didn't like. If you didn't like the w910i you probably won't like the c905 as they are quite similar, the c905 is slightly bulkier but has the same os. Personally I think for ease of use and music quality you can't beat a sony ericsson, I just upgraded to the 8gb flip and I love it.

i think wha i didn't like about the w910 was the poor camera. the os etc i was happy enough with, except it keeps crashing every few days (sometimes several times a day) but i see they seem to have reduced that (perhaps not cured but reduced) on the w910.

i think the w910, as a walkman phone is terrible on sound quality in loudpeaker mode, i've never used it with headphones, which makes me think i could do without the walkman thing, as i take a lot more pictures, and sad as it sounds, found the light on back of the w800 very useful lol.

i get on quite well with the buttons etc on the w910, wasn't overly keen on slidey phones before, but thinking about it, its been alright.

heres the upgrades to choose from on the internet
http://www.carphonewarehouse.com/mobiles/upgrade/o2upgrade

don't know if they can do me any better on the phone, as they did mention things like half price line retal etc, which would be good, if i can wrangle any sort of mobile internet deal i'll be sorted i think

Hey, i have a w910i and have had no probs with it at all. Never use the speaker phone but use the headphones alot and its great. Had it for 18 months or so and will stick with it until i drop it down the stairs

How long can i resist the temptation to drop a V8 in?

I think the c905 is a really nice phone - the only thing i was abit disappointed with was the video quality.

I like this website for phone reviews, and it rates the C905 highly

I do like the look of this phone though:

A coupler of my mates have them. 1 of them loves it but has had problems with the speaker not working. The other has one and thinks its crap and its been back for repair a few times and now they have replaced it with a different phone.

I like them and they have the best camera on them.. But im gonna get an N96 when i get my upgrade as i think theyr better,

had to do software upgrade as the phone kept freezing but since then no probs,

battery life is ok but not as goos as suggested in there specs,

nice phone if you use a camera alot easy to use buttons can be a bit fiddly but im very much used to it now

awesomeness i'll give a call tomorrow.

is it all true about the gps built in? wi-fi etc?

according to some sites, my w910 should have wi-fi. never seen any evidence of this though lol
