205 MI16- MSA Logbook
I think I'm all set to get my 205 logbooked and out for the LLys-y-Fran hill climb in July is there any advice anyone would give for the
"logbooking"
The car is currently in a road legal road rally state. What would I additionally need to do for the logbook inspection?
Timing beam breaker, mark ignition cut-off,.......Forgive me I'm new to all this.
I'm off to read the blue book now!

whats road legal road rally spec?
you can hillclimb a standard road car with no log book.
i could be wrong but to get a log book you will need things like a roll cage which matches one of the dwg's in the Blue book, big fire
extinguisher operatable from inside and outside, fia electric cut off operable from outside and by driver when belted in. poss hand held extinguisher
as well, harnesses, firewall between engine and passengers compartment, firewall between fuel tank and passengers compartment, 2nd throttle closing
spring, yellow tape on -ve lead on battery, tow points.... it's all in the blue book so you've probably sussed it by now

Liam
If it's road legal it won't need an MSA log book.
Have a check of the Blue Book before jumping into plumbed in extinguishers!
If you want me to pop down one evening let me know!

You only need to mark ign on/off, log book you might need (not sure) you will also need AFFF hand held fire ext, check the blue book as already said,
or go to a hillclimb and get a look at other road going cars and have a chat with the drivers
UNDERSTEER is when you hit the wall with the front of the car.
OVERSTEER is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car.
HORSEPOWER is how fast you hit the wall.
TORQUE is how far you take the wall with you.
