Welding Workshop Help

I've been asked to design a workshop for some welders. Where do I start?

I'm guessing there must be a specific set of regulations regarding ventilation / lighting / heating etc.

Can someone point me in the direction of the regulations?

Cheers

Mike

We use a compnay called BOFA at work who provide fume extraction systems (soldering stations in our case). Might be worth speaking to someone like that to see what sort of systems they recomend/install in wleding workshops...?

Your design is going to have to be based around the type of welding to be done, and the size and weight of the workpiece needing welding.... Those constraints will dictate what form of extraction (localised or entire unit) you will actually need!
