Overdoing it!
Tues swam 2500m (50 mins)
Fri swam 2500m (55 mins - pool busy))
Sat rode 18 miles (3 miles to work in 15 mins, then 15 miles homes on slight detour in an hour)
Today swam 2000m (45 mins - needed to get home, to get boys to bed)
Day after tomorrow, another 2500m swimming.
Supposed to swim Tues, Fri and Sun but it doesn't usually happen hence the long bike ride yesterday. However, managed to get all done and
I'm so sore

Saturday. Walked 6 yards to the car. Drove 15 miles to work, then 20 walked yards to my control room. Did about the same but in reverse to get home
(although I didn't reverse home) and called for a Chinese. And ditto for today apart from going to the pub on the way back from work, which is
10 yards from my house........I've just got back.
Fighting anorexia, one pie at a time.....hic!

depending on the state of your knees, trying and start skipping, its one of the most energetic exercises you can go,
i was told by a trainer at the gym i used to go to that 20 minutes skipping burns the same amount of calories as an hours running! so even little
10minute bursts would be good to get your heart rate up and the blood pumping!
keep up the swimming, r u keeping track of your weight? keep us posted

Note to all: I really don't know when to leave well alone. I tried to get clever with the mods, then when they gave me a lifeline to see the
error of my ways, I tried to incite more trouble via u2u. So now I'm banned, never to return again. They should have done it years ago!

I decided to slim down a bit too, so for the last few days been walking up a very steep very high hill, took me about 40 mins to get to the top the
first time, down to about 35 now so getting better. Always done weights and I love doing them as it makes you feel strong but the CV work seems to
have an even better feeling of well being afterwards.

I ate too many bacon butties yesterday.
I think I may have strained my back with all that lifting.

A mate of mine used to go to the gym three times a week for years, that's where he had the heart attack that killed him He was only 43.
yours, Pete
I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.
