EBAY PROBLEM
I have just tried to bid on an item and despite being logged in i think. I was diverted to the sign in screen, thinking I may not have signed in I
filled in my password, I was then forwarded to a screen that asked for my credit card details! at the bottom of the page it states "By clicking
the Continue button you are consenting to the disclosure by eBay of your contact information to a third party for verification purposes" This
has made me suspicious that it may be a scam, has anyone come across this before?
Another thing I have increased a bid on another item without any problems.

Similar, when I tried to change my e-mail address. Sounds very much like a phishing scam to me
However, e-bay do seem to be pushing PayPal a lot. I never sell and never use PayPal so they don't get my card details.

Dont start me on ebay ive just tried to list somthing having not sold anything for many months.
they wanted to charge me £25 for a modest reserve and insist on using paypal as a payment method grr
And yes they do seem to like to ask for your credit card.
While I am having a rant and Hijacking your thread what other auction sites are there ?
