Recommend me a Shaver pls

it's coming up to Fathers day and I'm getting bored of the old wet razors so I'm looking for a good shaver.

Any recommendations?

Brazillian?

I've always had phillishave, no complaints, cheap enough, does the job. You don't need anything fancy unless you're a bit of a gadget freak.

Have a look at ukhotdeals.com as they have had some excellent deals on there recently for Phillips I think.

I've tried a few electric shavers and nothing beats a Gillette Fusion wet shave in the shower.

I think almost everyone will agree a good blade will give a better shave, but there is nothing like the convenience and speed of a quick buzz round your chops with an electric.

Bloomin 'eck, over £200 for this one
http://www.justbeautifully.co.uk/philips-arcitec-high-performance-cordless-electric-shaver-rq1085.php?CAWELAID=204043833

although is that a bit of carbon I see? must be better than my £40 philishave then. Marketed directly at the sort of people who buy the gentlemens skin care products

Im on Gillette Blue II + razers.
- Does the job well, cheaper than anything else, and nice and light.

That said, sometimes i really dont feel like a shave and an elec would be nice for the lazy option. Possably better for the skin to?

Phillishave - my current one is 10 years old and still works great. Not quite a close a shave as the bar-type shavers (or a blade obviously) but much less likely to irritate your skin.

Thanks for the suggestion so far, it looks like Phillishave gets the vote, I'll take a look around the web this evening and see what deals are available.

I just want a convenient shave every so often

He isn't He's just lazy

As he knows I use one of THESE and since I got it I've not used anything else, I doubt I ever will.

It's just such a lovely thing to hold, heavy and nicely weighted...

Oh yeah, the blades are dirt cheap and last ages too

Oooh, that looks more like it. But I have this fear that using a blade type like that would cut my face. I know it probably doesn't happen, but it still looks like it would
