Depends on whether it's for a daily driver or a donor?? I've never liked them, probably pretty quick but just think they look a bit odd.....for the UK market anyway.

As a donor, not too bad as Clairetoo's post a few down demonstrates

Had a 16v.

A bit Gutless but nice to drive. Comfortable and good on a run. not bad on fuel.

Handling was pretty good, although the steering's a bit wooden.

Relaible, but look out for distributers though (Car won't start). I coughed up £500 for a new one, it's a known problem although there is now a (very) cheap fix for it.

There is a Probe owners club...........

Was supposed to replace the Mustang, built in a plant in Detroit Area along with a similar Mazda. didn't sell well in North America, hence the Mustang is still alive. The engine may be the Mazda V6 but FWD.

It is an identical engine to the Mazda , but made in America (and prone to piston ring troubles , according to an Mx6 forum I'm on....)
