Interior light controller with timer - recommendations?

Hi,
Does anyone know of a wireless lighting controller available from local DIY stores which can work from a timer to switch interior lights on and off at intervals to give the appearance of being home when your not? I know you can get the little handsets to control lights and other electrical appliances but I don't know if any offer the timer functionality.

One of my neighbours is going on holiday in a few weeks and asked me if I knew of such a product. I'm sure someone will produce something like this but didn't know of a specific product myself.

Anyone?

Cheers,
Craig.

Yeah that's what I've done in the past - I think my neighbour is thinking of having a few lights through the house coming on and off through the evening.

Cheers,
Craig.

not exactly sure what you are after but they do make switches with digital timers built in.obviously they dont look as nice as a standard switch but it depends where the switches are in your house as to whether you will be happy with the look of them.they are easy to wire to.

Yeah I know the sort of thing you mean, I have one I bought a while back but then didn't need.

What I'm looking for here though is one of those remote control handsets which can (typically) control 4 lights but with the added feature of timer control.

Cheers,
Craig.
