Only ment to go out for a short blat.......

but it turned into another 70 mile blast, it does this every time, only planned to go out for half an hour but ended up in the new forest on empty roads, fantastic driving until there was traffic

Does this happen to others or is it just me?

Tommy

I was going to go for a blat but I got home from work late and the various bottles of real ale in the fridge were just too tempting

Oh well, got tommorow off until 5.30 so happy days I should take the tintop in for it's MOT but unfortunately I didn't get time to book it in today and I'm sure they'd be too busy tommorow if I rang so I may as well just for a nice long drive....

Slightly OT, but cancelling a blat and keeping real ale in the fridge? What were you thinking??

It was so nice, I let TomTom's "shortest route" decide the way home, which took me over one of my old favourites (Blackstone Edge, nr. Rochdale). Unfortunately, it's so badly maintained, the preserved Roman Road that it crosses is in better shape than the real one. Won't bother with that one again...
