Armoto - ticking me off!

ARGH!

bought a Armoto chassis pack in march. its all gone together fine apart frm the transmission tunnel. which has about 6 parts that are too short or wrong angles.

so i emailed them asking for help at the back end of last month, no reply so rang them and the guy said im busy ill ring u back in an hour. 7 hours later i got an email asking me to send pics of the problems i was having.

i was going away the next day for a week so when i returned i spent a day tacking together how i thought it should go and taking pics and emailed them off to them.

No reply for two weeks.
so rang them yesterday,

"oh yes, it wasnt very clear from the pictures what problems you were having"

so why not email me back asking for more pics?

"can you post me the parts that your having problems with and ill check them"

WHAT!

why should i have to pay postage to send steel back when for the same cost i could get a 6m length!

so i refused, instead he now wants me to measure up all the lengths and angles of pieces ive got and he will compare them to his plans!

ive given up with them!

moral of the story - Armoto packs are good quality, customer service - poor!

it's an unfortunate aspect of many companies these days - too focussed on getting the sale and not enough after care.

Hope you get your tubes sorted

Bearing in mind a 6m length of 25x25 box is only about £10 from a stockholder is it worth the hassle/holdup?

Ditto. It took them a while to get back to me after blaming Jason (?) for the delay as he had left the company. After that though, they sent me the replacement bits next day. I was quite impressed after that.

Kindest Regards,
