F1- getting interesting.....

http://www.planetf1.com/story/0,18954,3213_5404405,00.html

So Mad Max was the founder and co-owner of March Engineering. Which is due to enter F1 in 2010.... His side-kick is head stewart for F1 and has been giving "help" to March Engineering....

Does anyone else think that this stinks? How do you spell "fricking big conflict of interest"?

I reckon the only thing to happen is Big Ron D should threaten to come back to the pit lane unless Max doesn't stand as planned

I thought the 3 new entrants for 2010 were Manor, Campos and USF1?

I see Mad Max is being forced to stand for President again then

The guy is a complete joke and so determined to cling to power. FOTA should carry on setting up their rival championship and hopefully the FIA's cash stream will dry up when all the TV and sponsors jump ship to the new series

I think it very much depends on what happens with the others.... Question is this- does Max want the FOTA teams to stay in formula one or not?!?! I can't imagine he'd be too upset if McLaren left F1!! Certainly it sounds like Donnelly is still grooming March engineering!!

This is how big business is carried out everywhere. They are all corrupt, AND it will never change.

There was never realistically going to be a breakaway series - it was all about a show of power and forcing those on the sidelines and trapped in the middle (basically the rest of the FIA council and Bernie) to pick a side and show where allegiances lie.

Is there something I missed? I always thought professional "sports" were about making money. Specifically, while pretending to lose it. You know, socialism for costs, capitalism for profits. How they do this, is way beyond the average person's attention span, but not, unfortunately beyond their wallets when a race/match is on.

Max is just talking hot air much like he did about revealing just who it was that set him up for the spankygate photo opportunity

Just wait the gossip is FOCA have silver tipped titanium stake in reserve to drive through Mosley's, Donelly's and Woods corpulent hearts --- rumour mill says it something really major.
