Why ?

Is it so difficult to grow grass on a lawn yet grass appears to have no difficulty growing in the small gaps on a block paved patio ?

if you get field mix it will grow like the stuff on your patio
but it grows at twice the rate of the lovely mix you get for your lawn
we used to spread it on 40 acres a year for cattle altho it was always left 18 month to 2 years to get established

I bought turf and topsoil, and its fine (other than the hot wether making parts of it brown!)

Dont use the company i used though. They delivered and left a huge crator in the new block paved drive, from his wagons jacks.
Ive tried to get back in touch with them, but theyre not interested. Oh well, another job for the solicitor!

Kindest Regards,
