X-Bow (car)

Anyone seen this months copy of complete kit car, it at the front is a bit on a X-bow replica which they say could be on the road for the same as a 7 replica.
It should be on sale 2010, the back end differs from the real thing but not that much.
Fitted with a monedo engine at the back and the same suspension set up at the front, nice.

The original is seriously over engineered, over weight and over priced so it would be great to see a decent replica at a fraction of the cost.

i don,t like it, it looks like a reworked Dutton front end & a cut block of cheese from there backwards.
i,m sure alot of work has gone into it but its just not my taste at all.

Didn't he post some "in progress" photos a while back?

I can't see any "finished" shots though.

But the xbow is a monocoque?

I think the replica looks like a space frame; if so it might look the same but a completely different beast?

Not my cup of tea. Looks like something Action Man would drive. And not the proper Action Man - the one with movable (stone cold killer) eyes, proper guns and knives, tents, backpacks, etc - nah, he'd drive a proper rugged jeep or something. I mean the new young trendy super-gadget stupid poof (and probably part time boy band member) Action Man - he'd drive an X-bow.

Out of interest, do you say 'Ex-bow' or 'crossbow'?
