Sun Visor Mounted Blue Tooth Device

Hi All

There was a topic on here a while ago discussing the best blue tooth devices and there were some people recommending a particular sun visor mounted device. I've searched and searched but cannot find that topic! Can anybody help? I need one for the wife.

Ta

I've had a couple. One was a Sony Erricson, other was a Nokia. Both got sold as although I could hear the call perfectly, the person on the other end couldn't hear a thing, even when I was shouting. I tried loads of different positions of mounting it. I think the best alternative is a fully fitted hands free kit. You can pick them up from ebay for about £30 and they are not hard to fit.

I started last thread, no-one was an expert in this field though.

I looked at a few on a shopping trip. I wanted one that you could pair and use 2 phones at a time, but with good call quality etc.

Thought i hit jackpot with a Parrot visor mount, sadly didnt work well with my combo of phones (Nokia N96 and Blackberry). I took it back for refund.

Next got a Supertooth one. This seems to work very well and ive kept it. Cheap too at £40. Defo pairs to both phones at same time but i have to initiate the pairing in the right order. Something like if i pair the Blackberry first, then the N96, the blackberry drops out (when i say pair i dont mean as in the first time you ever connect - maybe should have just said connect).

So in my limited experience id say give the Supertooth one a try. They can be had on the high street in a main mobile phone shop for £40 but i cant remember what shop that was, some of the others were asking £50 for same unit.
Ive asked the people on other end of phone if they can hear me ok and so far all have said call quality was good.
