Bugger off you Southerners. I've been working and the weathers been rubbish up here. I believe the heat wave comes next week but not in Manchester. We mustn't have paid enough taxes to the council again!

The original chrome silencer is now 9 years old very noisey and not repackable

When I bought the car two years ago there was a fracture around the inlet to the box which a friend of mine did an excellent job of welding up.

It's lasted two years more than it would have otherwise - so it was time for it to go.

The guys at Haywood and Scott in Basildon are making a new collector, link pipe and repackable box.

This will be quiet enough to take on the track - so another step closer to my dream of track days

Bah I saw a triathlon on the telly yesterday in Hyde park whilst I was at work and they had to swim without wet suits as the water was 22 degrees! It wasn't that outside the water here
