EBAY GOT ME!!!!

Been really happy with ebay and kept my 100% feedback.
Sold my moto x bike to a bloke for the BUY IT NOW price, Great i though! A few days past contacted the buyer and arranged collection and cash payment. All ok untill the day of collection, Stayed at home (when i had planed to do other stuff) all day waiting for the collection. Buyer didnt turn up, not even a message to say he could not make it. So i wrote a message to him saying that im reporting him to ebay etc..... Get a message back saying "HA HA you can not leave bad feed back!!"

WTF!!

What ever is the matter with people! If he had said he did not want it anymore fair enough but to say that!!!!

Is it just me or what is ebay doing! Im a good seller and feel like i just have been sh*t on!!

you may not be able to leave negative feedback but you can file a non paying bidder report so you don't have to pay ebay commission and you can also take the chap to the small claims court as he entered into a legally binding contract to buy the item

"That thing you're thinking - it wont be that."

Sadly fairly typical of ebay at the moment.

File a non paying bidder report, they wont be able to leave feedback then anyway (if they do it before it will be withdrawn by ebay)

If the culprit gets enough NPB strikes then they will get booted off ebay.

Follow Marks advice if you really want to cause them some hassle.

Do you have the persons address? If not you can get it off ebay, cant remember how though.

reported him to ebay and trying to reclame the fees as they came out at over £30!! I will name and shame as soon as ebay have sorted the problem out.

Still feel really cheesed off.

Send a copy of message to eBay, they will ban him.

Sellers are treated like poop on eBay at mo, the powerseller discount is ending soon along with powersellers, the DSR scheme they are bringing in means 3 scores of 1or 2 and all discounts are gone, trouble is with the ebay scores 1-5 if you dont get a 5 your crap in there eyes, now to me scores of 1-5 then 3 should would be ok ? Not to them its not.

Our last neg was gained as we would not give in to blackmail, the wanted x or we got a neg, we took the neg, but guess what, we cant neg him to warn others, good in it ?

btw user name please so I can add to my blocked bidder list.

don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!

If you go on ''view order details'' that should give you an address, but remember, he likely already has yours. Probably just write it off as a bad experience is the best option. Oh yeah, and name and shame.

I missed out on a saddle on ebay a few months ago, so emailed the seller and said i would pay him £50 more than the winning bid (naughty lol) hi agreed and I collected, payed cash etc.

2 weeks later got a telling off from ebay as the guy had emailed ebay to ask why they had charged him for the auction, when he had snuffed the winner and sold it to me (and named me lol).
